The best thing about buses is the feeling of a journey. With buses running only once an hour, it might seem inconvenient, but that's part of the adventure! The one-way taxi fare from the port or airport to here is approximately 8,000 yen.

During my first visit to Goto, I rented a scooter and stumbled upon a stunning camellia tree. The homeowner, who had just come back from fishing, kindly invited me in and offered me fresh seafood. If you're seeking spontaneous adventures, renting a scooter is a fantastic choice.

First, head to the supermarket and grab a free cardboard box. Write "Miiraku direction" on it in big letters. You're all set! You can either stand by the roadside and thumb a ride or approach stopped cars. A little disheveled look can help. But make sure you maintain basic hygiene or you might not get a ride.
